• only when it’s us

only when it’s us by Chloe Liese is 99c! This is book one in the Bergman brothers Later series and books have been mentioned on the site. This is a new romantic romance for adults with some enemies for lovers. There is a note that the book was revised and expanded last year.

Prepare for an emotional roller coaster of laughter, tears and simmering sexiness in this new adult romance that tackles the vulnerability of love with humor and heart.

    Ryder

Ever since she sat next to me in class and shot me death eyes, Willa Sutter has been on my blacklist. Why she hates me, I don’t know. What I do know is that Willa is the kind of chaos I don’t need in my orderly life. She is the next generation of women’s soccer. Wild hair, wilder eyes. Bee-stinging lips that should be illegal. And a temper that makes the devil look friendly.

She is a thorn in my side, a menacing, curmudgeonly nuisance who has turned our Business Math course into a bloody gladiatorial arena. I’m going to get out of this war zone unscathed, I’m going to be victorious… And if I get away with that red-haired, ball-busting demon, it will be in more than one sense of the word.

    Willa

Instead of giving me missed class notes like every other instructor I’ve ever had, my asshole professor tells me to get them from the silent, sullen, flannel-clad mountain man sitting next to me in class. Well I tried. And what did I get from Ryder Bergman? Ignored. What a complete lumbersexual Neanderthal. Mangy beard and more mangy hair. Frayed cap that hides his eyes. And a stubborn refusal to acknowledge my existence.

I’ve fought men before, but with Ryder, it’s war. I’ll get those notes and crack that Sasquatch nut if it’s the last thing I do, then I’ll have him at my mercy. Victory has never tasted so sweet.

Only When It’s Us is a college sports romance between friends and lovers about a female soccer star and her surly lumberjack-like classmate, complete with a matchmaking professor, boyish banter, and a smoldering slow burn. This stand-alone novel is the first in a series of new novels about a Swedish-American family of five brothers, two sisters, and their wild adventures as they each find themselves happily ever after.

  • Miss Buncle’s Book

The Book of Miss Buncle by DE Stevenson

RECOMMENDED: Miss Buncle’s Book from DE Stevenson is $2.99! It’s also part of today’s Kindle Daily Deals. Carrie loved this book and gave it an A:

For the most part, Miss Buncle’s Book It is not a book to laugh out loud. His humor is soft and understated but very funny nonetheless. It is also a delightful ode to the power of the written word.

Barbara Buncle is in a bind. Times are tough and Barbara’s bank account has seen better days. Out of ideas, Barbara is inspired by other residents of her quaint English town and writes an eye-opening novel featuring the townspeople as characters. The landslide bestseller is published under the pseudonym John Smith, which is good because the villagers recognize the truth. But what really changes her world is when the events of real life begin to mimic the events of the book. Funny, charming, and insightful, this novel reveals what happens when people see themselves through someone else’s eyes.
